Catch up - 30 weeks today!!
A little catch up for the Scullen clan--
First- I can't resist this cute picture. Two weeks ago Emma Grace and one of her cute friends from school went to the Opelika High School game with her parents. Christopher also went with one of his friends. Here they are dressed in their red and black. So stylin'!!!
While they were at the game, Brett and I got Kate all to ourselves!!!
What a treat! It was her choice for dinner--so (with a small prego craving suggestion...) she chose Five Guys Burgers. We were STARVING!!! It was sooo good. Kate and I decided we needed to document our HUGE burgers.
Here is the latest official prego picture. I am 29 weeks here (now 30!!) Feeling pretty good. Reflux is a little better. I am just "trying" to take it easy. It is really hard in this family!!! I have gained about 19 pounds at my 30 week appt!! AHHHH!!! I guess the Five guys burgers are not helping to keep that under control :)
Here we were on our way to church...minus the hubby of course (behind the lens!)
This most recent weekend....we had a BLAST! Brett's parents, Gina and Bob, came in from Nashville to help us with some things around the house. We have finally got the basement finished and got to start moving some furniture down there. I promise a complete tour as soon as most of it is placed. On Saturday, Auburn played Arkansas in a BIG game...and Auburn won!!! We had a great tailgate with our dearest friends in Auburn. It was perfect weather! We had the best food, tons of kiddos, and some great games to watch under the tent. Brett and Christopher went to the actual game and sat in some really good seats. Christopher kept talking about how much fun he had---i was so happy for the 2 boys to watch a great game!!! The night before the tailgate, I decided to have the girls help me make the perfect Auburn accessory...a "flower pin". We made some for the other girls at the tailgate too. Here are some shots...
They were a hit and so easy to make....a little felt, my trusty glue gun, and a pin....cheap and easy!
A long standing Auburn tradition after a win is to "roll Toomer's Corner" right at the edge of campus. I have seen the tree the day after, but have never actually got to do the "rolling myself". Needless to say--I HAD to go experience this one!!! I took the girls and our best friends from the tailgate. It was so neat!!! Crazy.....
We tailgate close to a perfect "grass sledding" hill. Here are the girls before they let 'er rip!!! Lets just say that with a lot of "shout spray" and a great new washer/dryer, we had spotless clothes on Sunday....grass stains galore!! :) So worth it though.......
On Sunday, Kate and I decided to continue the Auburn Spirit. I painted her nails orange and blue and then added "Auburn Girl" in sparkles...We may need to open up a nail salon now. I think we are on to something!!
