Off to school

Here was Caroline this morning (really early...like 6am) as we were about to leave to go to her "school". Her little sleepy eyes are so sweet along with her crazy "Austin powers" dress. Yeah baby!

OK!  Meet my little brother, Cameron! You guys!!--I think he is such a catch!!!  He is 30 years old and lives in Austin, TX.  After college, he worked in the oil and gas industry for about 5 years.  But!-he has recently started his own successful company which acquires oil and gas mineral rights through Texas and Oklahoma.  I am so amazed at his ambition, discipline, and smarts!! We've Got Talent How About You

As part of the end of the year festivites, Kate and Christopher's school have a Talent Show . This year Kate decided to sing Somewhere Over The Rainbow . She did a terrific job. I think she got a little nervous on her lines (I would too if I had the whole school plus parents watching). It has about a 30 sec intro...so bear with it. About 2 performances before Kate, this cute young 3rd grade got up and did a Christian Rap. I think it was called, " I am doing it for the Lord, and I am doing it". It was so awesome. I only started filming part way into it, but Brett and I were just cracking up. Watch until you see the entire school waving their hands. So Funny. Brett and I think this is destined for You Tube Greatness.

Catching Our Breath

We have had a lot going on here at the Scullen house!!! This time of year we call the "birthday season"...Kate is May 7th, Emma Grace is May 21st, and Christopher is June 14th.  Between the 3 birthdays and ALL of the end of school festivities....May has come and gone in a flash!! Here is Kate....now a DECADE old!!!  10!!!  To celebrate her birthday, Kate wanted to have a dinner and invite our best family friends over to celebrate.  All her idea....She planned everything.  She and Brett worked all day on the menu and cooking all the food...even her own "special" birthday cake.  I filmed her and was asking about her party plans...love her response!  What a terrific girl.  We had a birthday celebration dance to Flo Rider of course!...  The delicious lemon and strawberry cake...  What a cutie!!!  TEN years old!
