Here was Caroline this morning (really early...like 6am) as we were about to leave to go to her "school". Her little sleepy eyes are so sweet along with her crazy "Austin powers" dress. Yeah baby!
OK! Meet my little brother, Cameron! You guys!!--I think he is such a catch!!! He is 30 years old and lives in Austin, TX. After college, he worked in the oil and gas industry for about 5 years. But!-he has recently started his own successful company which acquires oil and gas mineral rights through Texas and Oklahoma. I am so amazed at his ambition, discipline, and smarts!! He is a Texas boy at heart. We were both raised in Corpus Christi and he has lived in San Antonio and Houston before landing in Austin. He is a Christian and has been recently attending The Austin Stone Church. He loves to travel and usually goes skiing a few times each season. He also loves the beach too! He loves to listen to music (awesome in Austin), enjoys a nice beer, and is the best uncle to 3 nieces and a nephew. Oh- and he is tall! 6'3" Email me if you are interested, and I would love to make a match! hscullen@gmail.com ...
Since it has been sooooo loooong since the last blog post, I thought I would do a brief recap of the past 4 months in pictures. Needless to say....we have been busy! Between the holidays, Caroline's first birthday, many fun visits from family, and just life in general, time has just gotten away from me. Thank goodness for Emma Grace who is constantly reminding me how behind I am on my blogging! ha! Seriously....she is my main motivation to get back on track! So here we go... p.s. this may take awhile to get through so grab a cup of coffee... Thanksgiving at our house. Gina and Bob drove down from Nashville and Val and Cameron came up from Texas Lots of football throwing in the front yard. The weather was perfect! Like mother-Like Daughter...same cords on! We are so hip! Some of the kitchen crew: Gina, Val, Emma Grace, Aunt Linda And a lot of ping pong tourneys - Christopher and Val usually fought to t...
This past weekend was great! The weather was perfect and we got some great stuff done around the house. On Friday night we let each of the kids have a friend over to spend the night. It was crazy, but a blast. We took them all out to eat and then to Redbox to pick out some movies. We kept laughing about the fact we had to take 2 cars to go out to eat...9 people! And--I do have the BEST husband in the world.......I got invited to go have a couple of hours with 2 great girlfriends of mine so I left my husband alone with 7 kids when we got back from dinner. Wow! When I got home the kids were all happy and the home was still standing. When we collapsed into bed late that night, we thought about that this is what it would be like if we had 7 kids. Yikes! So fun though. Saturday morning was Christopher's opening day for his Youth Baseball League. He has been pitching some lately and was the "closer" for their game. They won easily... like 15-0 (we lost count)! Chris...
