Its been waaaaay too long!

I cannot believe it is almost November....I cannot believe that I have an almost 10 month old...I cannot believe the kids will be done with this semester before we know it...and I cannot believe it has been 6 weeks since my last post.  Ahhh!
To say the Scullen crew has been "on the move" is an understatement!  Between work, school, activities, and having some fun we barely have time to catch our breath.  I am going to try and catch our family up on this blog over the next couple of days.  We have had cross country meets, football games, soccer games, beach trips, and lots of fun we want to document....

So here goes Installment Number One!
Bob and Gina came down for several days and went to as many activities as they could!  Here they are watching one of Christopher's football games.  He has really had a good time playing in a rec league this fall.  They have been playing him on the offensive AND defensive line.  He has gotten in great shape from some tough workouts.  They play in the championship game tomorrow night.  Go Broncos!

Emma Grace has had several cross country meets (almost every Saturday).  Some have been fairly local and several have been as far away as Birmingham.  Here was the meet that Opelika hosted for the first time.  It was fun to be the "home team" for once.  The meet was at our sportsplex facility that the kids train on a lot so the course was familiar to them.  It was a perfect day weather wise and everyone did great.  Each meet Emma Grace improves her time a little faster than the last meet.  That is what you want!!!!  She is really enjoying cross country, has made some great friends, and is already talking about next year.

One proud Papa!  All the parents helped out at the meet and it seemed like all the teams had a great experience and can't wait for Opelika to host next year's.

We have been watching most of the Auburn games with friends...This time we had them over to our house.  Tons of kids running around which is the way we like it.  Of course the majority were ours as always...ha!
The silly pose that I promised after 1 good smiling shot!
Our best friends, The Walters and The Kings
Jeremy King has started making these "survival bracelets" which are braided from parachute cord.  Apparently they have been all the rage at school, because now he has "partnered" with the kids and has been taking orders from their friends.  What a hoot!  Here is Emma Grace and Olivia modeling theirs.

This past Friday night we all went to the local high school football game for the big rivalry game.  It is Opelika versus Auburn High School.  Sadly we lost, but I know Brett had fun "remembering the good 'ole days"!  We felt like we were right back in High School....ya right.  Ha!

Here are some cute pictures of Brett and his girls.  Do they all look alike or what?????

Yesterday, Emma Grace had one of her last meets of the season.  It was so chilly this morning (the 40's), but it felt great to bundle up.  Caroline just wore her fleecy PJs....I was so jealous.

Emma Grace improved her time..."natch"....even though she had the "crud" that all of us seem to be passing around.  Caroline, Christopher, and myself all feel a little under the weather.  She pushed through and finished strong.

And I will just leave you with a taste of our great beach trip pics to come.....It was wonderful!
